HPD! & RH Podcast Interview & 1Yr Anniversary Livestream!!
Hey Hartlist,
Well it's March 17, I just ate a bacon sandwich for breakfast, and McManus' bar down the street has set up a 6-ft inflatable leprechaun. This can only mean one thing: Happy Actual Paddy's Day! May your pockets be heavy and your heart be light! May your troubles be less and your blessing be more! And all the other "Irish" blessings I just read on Oprah's website! We had a great time on the Paddy's episode of The Chrysalis last Sunday w/special guest from across the pond SJ McArdle; worth a listen.
This coming Sunday 3/21 at 4PM EST, on Facebook and Youtube (and insta thereafter), join me for *drumroll*
The Chrysalis 45: ANNIVERSARY, w/special guests Rannygazoo in a do-over from that other time.
(Yes. ONE YEAR have I been doing this show!)
Pandemic aside, I would not trade one bit of this experience of connecting to all of you, learning and sharing (and writing) new music, and solving problems like But how will people in other states/countries come to my shows? (Answer: The Internet). Join me for songs of commitment, looking back and forward, Coming Around Again. Tell your friends! The more the merrier.
This Sunday is ALSO the spring equinox, an exciting holiday where you dye an egg and then balance it on a seder plate.
Lastly, more Hart Content this week ; the 10Glo Show, a podcast which interviews up and coming music-theatre writers, spoke to yours truly about her winding path, checkered past, and current projects. I have not listened to it yet, because arghthesoundofmyownvoice, but it was fun to do! (and they promised to edit the rambly bits). All those times in quarantine where I found myself talking out loud and pretending to be interviewed while doing the dishes? Legitimized.
Have a listen, and also hear some songs from IRON JOHN: an american ghost story (written w/Jacinth Greywoode), microcosmos (written w/David Kornfeld), and of course The Magician's Daughter (not a musicalwritten in part with producer Ben Sollee).
Did you know that if you subscribe to my YouTube channel (which still has the other Rebecca Hart's music all over it, we're working on it), you will get a timely reminder of the livestream beginning?
See you Sunday! Happy Spring!
