Friends, Romans, countrymen, lend me your ears
Hey Hartlist,
If you joined us for last Sunday's "Chrysalis" you already know that one of my friends/bandmates became a Dad! last week. And maybe it was singing to my friend's baby, or the fact that there is a new cousin-to-be brewing in my family, or the fact that I don't get to squnch* my niece and nephew as much as I'd like these days... but this week we present The Chrysalis 33: KIDS (NOT just FOR KIDS) on 4PM Sunday December 6 over on my facebook page.
The Sunday show *WILL* be appropriate for kids, so bring them along!! It will *NOT* be "kids songs", so bring yourself too! This week's title is just a shout out to one of my friend Mr. Jonny Porkpie's ingenious burlesque/comedy shows of yore: "BURLESQUE FOR KIDS (NOT FOR KIDS), which I still think is one of the funniest titles ever. (That show was *NOT* appropriate for kids.) And speaking of Mr. Porkpie, look for an appearance (I mean it this time) on the show in the coming week/s, because it isn't the holidays without Jonny & I acting like this.
Speaking of the holidays, I am booking a whole bunch of *tarot readings* now - they make great presents I'm told. Feel free to reach out. And see you and yours on Sunday,
Rebecca
*a word we use around here meaning both to "squish" and "crunch" someone, which is a lot nicer than it sounds.
